Rides to dialysis three times a week for Gonzalo in Buenos Aires

A rota of drivers to the Buenos Aires Kidney Centre would keep Gonzalo on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Gonzalo has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Buenos Aires Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Gonzalo can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 25 km each way. Gonzalo is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.
