Rides to dialysis three times a week for Gabriella in Santa Fe
A rota of drivers to Santa Fe General Hospital would keep Gabriella on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇺🇸 Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States476 views
Gabriella has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Santa Fe General Hospital alone. After surgery on their hand, Gabriella can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 33 km each way.
Gabriella is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
