Rides to dialysis three times a week for Ethan in Red Deer

A rota of drivers to the Red Deer Kidney Centre would keep Ethan on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Ethan has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Red Deer Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Ethan can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 26 km each way. Ethan is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you so much.
