Rides to dialysis three times a week for Bella in Liverpool

A rota of drivers to the Liverpool Dialysis Unit would keep Bella on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Bella has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Liverpool Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Bella can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 8 km each way. Bella is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you and your family, Ryan. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
