Rides to dialysis three times a week for Aubree in Sydney
Aubree needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.
🇦🇺 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia949 views
Aubree has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Sydney Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Aubree can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Aubree is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you, Skylar. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 17 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
