Rides to dialysis three times a week for Alexandra in Derry
Alexandra needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Alexandra has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Derry Regional Medical Center alone. After a minor stroke, Alexandra can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 25 km each way.
Alexandra is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you. Hope the doctors have good news. My neighbor in Fukuoka donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Derry.
