Riddhi needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Saket

Riddhi drives for a living in Saket, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 4 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $250 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $35 • suspension replacement (parts): $195 • Labor charges: $20 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Riddhi

  1. Update from Saket: I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. We're at 12% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 6% funded and I made the first payment toward labor charges.
