Nagpur
Cedar Creek has been used as an informal dump for years. This August, 46 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 70 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good. We have a plan agreed with the municipal water board, including native species selected by a local botanist. The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade. All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials. We'll post planting day photos and a count of every sapling planted. Where the $450 goes: • Native saplings and stakes: $195 • Tools and protective gear: $70 • Waste removal and skip hire: $135 • Signage and educational materials: $50 With deep gratitude, Ashwin

Updates from Ashwin

  1. Update from Nagpur: I met with the nursery and confirmed the amounts. We're at 7% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 20% now ($90). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.

Praying for you, Ashwin. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
