Respite care wanted: a few hours a week with Kinsley in Austin
Kinsley needs company and a little help with meals; I need a few hours to work without worrying.

I'm Christian, and I look after my mother at home in Austin. Kinsley has Parkinson's and should not be alone for long stretches. I work long days at the clinic, and the gap on weekday afternoons is the hardest part of my week.
What I need is someone calm and reliable to be in the house from about 12.30 until 5pm. Mostly that means company, a cup of tea, lunch and a short walk if the weather is kind. No lifting and no medical care.
Kinsley loves old films and will talk your ear off about it. I'm home before dark and will always leave the phone numbers of the doctor and a neighbor.
I'd like to meet you first with Kinsley present, and I'm happy to give a reference from the parish. If you have done care work before, wonderful, but kindness matters more.
