Renata can't leave home - help build a ramp
Renata uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia810 views
Renata has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Renata can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Renata's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thank you so much.

Keep going. Hope the doctors have good news. Wish I lived closer to Sacramento so I could bring a meal.
Wishing you peace, Karina. Hope the doctors have good news. After 24 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Huntsville.
Sending love. Hope this works out for you. Don't give up. Blessings

Keep going, Karina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Karina. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
