I have worked as a taxi driver for 16 years, and I'm 54. After my children starting school, I decided to move into teaching, and I have completed a bootcamp. What I'm missing is someone who has walked this path: feedback on my CV and LinkedIn profile, a realistic view of the job market in Tokyo, and a sounding board when things feel overwhelming. I'm hoping for one 45-minute video call a month for six months, plus the occasional email question. I'll bring specific questions and I won't waste your time. All I can offer back is my thanks, and I'll mentor someone else once I'm settled. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Praying for you, Reiko. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
