Raquel's non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at the Belo Horizonte Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

In May I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. My oncology team at the Belo Horizonte Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in August. I was told to expect about 4 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 35, I worked as a nurse until May, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Belo Horizonte Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,400
• Scans and lab work: $290
• Transport to the Belo Horizonte Oncology Institute: $220
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $260
• Household costs while unable to work: $330
I hope life is good to you.
