Randall is one term away from finishing a computer science degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $3,000.

Randall is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Auckland University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,000.
The registrar has said Randall can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Randall has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Randall would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Randall isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $280
• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Final term tuition: $2,640
