Rajesh needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
Rajesh has run a roadside café for fifteen years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $500 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a roadside café in Chennai. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $300
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $50
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Working capital for the first month: $105
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Praying for you, Rajesh. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
