Rafał needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
Rafał is ten months into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm ten months into recovery from stimulant addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
take care. Get well soon. Greetings from Hyderabad
Rooting for you, Rafał. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Medellín so I could bring a meal.
Best of luck, Rafał. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Winston-Salem!
Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together.
