Lalitpur
Radha has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Lalitpur Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Radha can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way. Radha is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Glad we found this place.

  • Wishing you the best, Krishna. Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best

    • Best of luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double

      • Hope things get better soon. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Berlin but we're thinking of you. Blessings.

        • thinking of you and your family. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
