Pro bono tenant-rights lawyer needed for Wellington's case in São Paulo
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Wellington.

I'm facing a debt-collection lawsuit I believe is invalid, with a hearing on August. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified tenant-rights lawyer licensed in São Paulo who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in São Paulo or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Wellington. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
