Pro bono immigration lawyer needed for Samuel's case in California

Samuel is facing an unpaid wages claim and can't afford a lawyer; an immigration lawyer willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing an unpaid wages claim, with a hearing on January. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer. I'm looking for a qualified immigration lawyer licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee. I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Fresno or meet online. I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

  • It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Adama.

    • Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

      • Thanks for sharing this, Samuel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Rochester donated after I showed her your page. Take care.

          • keep going, Samuel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.
