Pro bono disability-rights advocate needed for Charles's case in New York
Looking for a pro bono disability-rights advocate in New York for a case with a deadline in November.

I'm facing a custody dispute, with a hearing on November. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in New York who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Rochester or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I hope life is good to you.

You're not alone, Charles. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
Sending good thoughts, Charles. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Rochester.
