Pro bono consumer-debt lawyer needed for Emi's case in Tokyo
Emi is facing wrongful dismissal after reporting unsafe conditions and can't afford a lawyer; a consumer-debt lawyer willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing wrongful dismissal after reporting unsafe conditions, with a hearing on February. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified consumer-debt lawyer licensed in Tokyo who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Shinjuku or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Best of luck, Emi. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out.
So sorry you're going through this, Emi. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
best of luck, Emi. Hope this works out for you. God bless
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Shinjuku.

Hope it all works out, Emi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 33 people at work. Take care!
You're not alone, Emi. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Kinondoni
Thinking of you, Emi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Los Angeles donated after I showed her your page.
