Priya needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
Help Priya get a stair-climbing aid so She can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇮🇳 India1,614 views
Priya lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Aurangabad General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Priya could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $500 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• stair-climbing aid: $450
• First-year servicing plan: $25
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
