Pixel's a ruptured cruciate ligament: help with the vet bill
Pixel, Hailey's cat, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $1,800.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom3,791 views
Pixel is my cat of nine years. On 19 February we rushed to Liverpool Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,800.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel got me through my hardest year. I have already put $270 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Liverpool Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $740
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $600
• Medication and follow-up visits: $95
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $365
Thanks for reading all this.

Hope things get better soon, Hailey. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
