Supporting Pilar through kidney cancer: medication, transport to the Cartagena Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.

Pilar was diagnosed with kidney cancer in August. The oncology team at the Cartagena Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Pilar is 40, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Cartagena Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Scans and lab work: $230
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $120
