My daughter, Imelda, is 15 and in the final year of school. Imelda loves school but physics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The university entrance exam is in November. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Pasig or online, for about sixteen weeks. Imelda is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in physics, you could change the course of Imelda's year. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • hope it all works out, Paolo. Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

    • Wishing you peace, Paolo. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Takoradi.

        • Good luck. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Thinking of Pasig.
