Payal's a rare sarcoma treatment fund
Payal is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Payal was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in December. The oncology team at the Québec Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Payal is 32, worked as a primary school teacher until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Québec Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,500
• Scans and lab work: $620
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $480
