Pavithra needs a lift to the Mumbai Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?
A rota of drivers to the Mumbai Kidney Centre would keep Pavithra on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Pavithra has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Mumbai Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Pavithra can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Pavithra is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Mumbai
- skills
- reliable car, clean driving record

this could happen to any of us. Love from Patna.
Hang in there, Latha. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Mumbai.
