Pass on a laptop: it could change Sita's year
Sita is studying nursing on a phone; a used laptop would let Sita do assignments properly.

I'm Sita, a nursing student in Varanasi. My laptop broke 6 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Varanasi.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I hope life is good to you.

So sorry you're going through this, Sita. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best
