Pass on a laptop: it could change Randall's year
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Randall and a full online workload.

I'm Randall, a business administration student in Dallas. My laptop broke 8 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Dallas.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Entebbe.
So sorry you're going through this, Randall. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
