Pass on a laptop: it could change Maayan's year
Maayan is studying nursing on a phone; a used laptop would let Maayan do assignments properly.

I'm Maayan, a nursing student in Haifa. My laptop broke 3 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Haifa.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

So sorry you're going through this. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Sending love, Maayan. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Nnewi.
