Pass on a laptop: it could change Ian's year
Do you have a laptop collecting dust? Ian needs one for online coursework.

I'm Ian, a social work student in Leeds. My laptop broke 3 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Leeds.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Praying for you, Ian. Study hard! My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Madurai!
hope it all works out, Ian. I hope things turn around soon. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Wishing you the best, Ian. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
