Pass on a laptop: it could change Hamisi's year
Hamisi is studying software engineering on a phone; a used laptop would let Hamisi do assignments properly.

I'm Hamisi, a software engineering student in Dar es Salaam. My laptop broke 2 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Dar es Salaam.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace, Hamisi. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Cardiff.
