Pass on a laptop: it could change Elena's year
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Elena and a full online workload.

I'm Elena, a social work student in Sheffield. My laptop broke 8 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Sheffield.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thank you for reading my story.

Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Wishing you peace. Study hard! Sent it to 19 people at work. Love from Dresden.
Thinking of you. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We're a small family in New Delhi but we're thinking of you. Blessings
I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 9 people at work.
Rooting for you. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors
