Pass on a laptop: it could change Beatrix's year
A modest, working laptop is all that stands between Beatrix and a full online workload.

I'm Beatrix, a software engineering student in Pietermaritzburg. My laptop broke 7 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Pietermaritzburg.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thank you for reading my story.

Take care, Beatrix. Hope this works out for you. Take care
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Mendoza this morning. Take care.
