Pass on a laptop: it could change Auma's year
Auma is studying social work on a phone; a used laptop would let Auma do assignments properly.

I'm Auma, a social work student in Embakasi. My laptop broke 4 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in Embakasi.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope things get better soon, Auma. This could happen to any of us. Love from Alcalá de Henares.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Nairobi.
