Parker lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Cambridge Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,050.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Parker could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $390
• Delivery and set-up: $70
• First-year servicing plan: $340
