Paisley received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Paisley needs $1,200 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Tacoma.

When the construction firm closed in April, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,200.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $420
• First month of rent as a buffer: $630
• Utilities in arrears: $150

Wishing you the best, Paisley. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Jakarta.
Sending love, Paisley. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Tacoma
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Nha Trang.
Hope things get better soon, Paisley. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
