Pablo is applying to university - who can guide us?
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Pablo's essays until December.

I'm Pablo, 16, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study computer science.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at the local library and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until December. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.

Sending good thoughts, Pablo. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
Hang in there. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
Wishing you the best, Pablo. Shared it with a few friends.
