Oskar's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Oskar was cleared for valve repair surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Oskar was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Kraków University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,950, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,950 short.
my son has been in and out of Kraków University Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,950 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Oskar struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Oskar won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,100
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $1,200
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $190
• Post-operative medication: $90
• Physiotherapy sessions: $175
• Travel and lodging for the family: $195
