Seyi is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Lagos Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Seyi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Seyi has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Seyi would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Seyi isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Lagos Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $240 • Final term tuition: $350 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Textbooks and materials: $40 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Femi
