Samuel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Manila Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850. The registrar has said Samuel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Samuel has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Samuel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Samuel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Manila Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $850 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $230 • Final term tuition: $500 • Exam and lab fees: $50 • Textbooks and materials: $70 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Updates from Camille

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($178 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Small update. $100 so far, the plan for outstanding tuition balance is now scheduled.
