A first-generation student, Rowan needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an electrical engineering diploma.

Rowan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Victoria Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,500.
The registrar has said Rowan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rowan has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rowan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Rowan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Victoria Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,100
• Final term tuition: $3,050
• Exam and lab fees: $230
• Textbooks and materials: $120
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
