One semester away: help Riaan graduate from George State College
A first-generation student, Riaan needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.

Riaan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at George State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000.
The registrar has said Riaan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Riaan has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Riaan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Riaan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $410
• Final term tuition: $480
• Exam and lab fees: $110
With deep gratitude,
Nomsa

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Fresno.
Hope it all works out, Nomsa. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Blessings.
I hope things turn around soon. Love from Atlanta.
