Rajan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at the Mumbai Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Rajan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rajan has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rajan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Rajan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Mumbai Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $390 • Final term tuition: $450 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $70 If you're reading this, thank you.
