One semester away: help Paloma graduate from Envigado Community College
A first-generation student, Paloma needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.
🇨🇴 Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia1,009 views
Paloma is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Envigado Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,550.
The registrar has said Paloma can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Paloma has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Paloma would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Paloma isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $610
• Exam and lab fees: $50
• Final term tuition: $890
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this, Sebastián. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Kano
