One semester away: help Okello graduate from Arusha University
Okello has worked and saved for five years to study an agriculture degree; a $600 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Arusha University, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $600 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $130
• Final term tuition: $410
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $15
Every share and every dollar helps.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Arusha
Thank you. If you're in Arusha I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.
Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
Wishing you peace, Okello. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
