One semester away: help Niels graduate from Haarlem University
Niels has worked and saved for four years to study a master's in public health; a $4,800 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Niels is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Haarlem University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,800.
The registrar has said Niels can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Niels has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Niels would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Niels isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Haarlem University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,800 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,500
• Final term tuition: $1,850
• Exam and lab fees: $300
• Textbooks and materials: $150

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Niels.
Outstanding tuition balance is $2,500 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
