One semester away: help Nadia graduate from Luxor State College
A first-generation student, Nadia needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a master's in public health.
🇪🇬 Egypt230 views
Nadia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Luxor State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $250.
The registrar has said Nadia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nadia has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nadia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Nadia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Luxor State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $250 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $25
• Final term tuition: $210

Thank you all. We're at 31% now ($78). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward exam and lab fees.
