One semester away: help Marta graduate from the San Antonio Institute of Technology
Marta has worked and saved for three years to study a pharmacy diploma; a $4,200 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at the San Antonio Institute of Technology, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,200.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,200 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $360
• Final term tuition: $1,850
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,990

Hope you get there. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Blessings.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Marta.
Exam and lab fees is $360 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. It helps to be asked.
hang in there, Marta. Shared it with a few friends. Please keep us posted
You're not alone, Marta. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Allentown
Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of San Antonio.
sending strength, Marta. Shared this with my family. All the best.
