Karlsruhe
Leni is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Karlsruhe State College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,100. The registrar has said Leni can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Leni has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Leni would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Leni isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Karlsruhe State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $4,100 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $95 • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,600 • Final term tuition: $1,405 With deep gratitude, Julia
