One semester away: help Keerthana graduate from Salem Community College

Keerthana is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Salem Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Keerthana can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Keerthana has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Keerthana would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Keerthana isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $800 goes: • Final term tuition: $330 • Outstanding tuition balance: $410 • Textbooks and materials: $60 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Praveen
